Pull up to our weighbridge at 27 Lake Road, Devonport. We’ll weigh your vehicle, you unload where we tell you, then we weigh you again on the way out. You pay for the difference. Our team sorts everything by hand to make sure it goes to the right place.

What We Accept
We handle most household, garden, and construction waste across the North Shore. Click through for specific details, pricing, and what we can’t take.
Household Materials
Recycling
Plastics, glass, cans, paper, cardboard. We sort everything properly so it actually gets recycled.
Electronic Waste
Computers, phones, TVs, appliances. We’ll strip them down and recover the valuable bits.
Metal
Scrap metal, white goods, car parts. Pretty much any metal you’ve got lying around.
Garden & Outdoor
Green Waste
Garden trimmings, branches, lawn clippings. Gets turned into mulch and compost.
Polystyrene
Clean polystyrene packaging and foam. We’re one of the few places that takes this stuff.
Bulky Items
Mattresses
Old beds and mattresses. We strip them down and recycle what we can.
Tyres
Car, truck and motorcycle tyres. These get processed and reused properly.
Other Materials
We also handle tetra packs, bottle caps and mobile phone recycling through special programs. Give us a call if you’re not sure about something.
What We Can’t Take
No liquids, chemicals, asbestos, paint, oils, or anything hazardous. When in doubt, call us on 09 445 3830.
Before You Come
💳 Payment
Bring cash or card. We’ll give you a receipt.
📦 Sorting
Separate materials if you can, it often makes it cheaper and helps us process things faster.
🔋 Electronics
Remove batteries from devices if possible. Makes recycling easier.
🧽 Clean Containers
Rinse food containers – dirty items can contaminate whole recycling loads.

Waste Disposal Questions
Do I need to sort everything?
Not essential, but it helps a lot. Our team will sort it properly either way, but pre-sorting can reduce your costs.
What if I’m not sure what category my waste is?
Just ask our staff when you arrive. We’ve been doing this since 2016, we’ll know where it goes.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, but it’s small. Even tiny loads get processed fairly, you only pay for what you bring.
Can I get a receipt?
Absolutely. Useful for rental properties or business expenses.
Can’t Make It Here?
We also offer skip hire across the North Shore. We’ll drop a skip at your place, you fill it up, and we’ll collect it when you’re done. Same hand-sorting service, but we come to you.
Why Bring It Here
Most waste companies just dump everything in landfill. We go through every load by hand and pull out anything that can be recycled or reused.
